Google maps with IE & Firefox

Firefox: 3.0.6
IE: 7.0
o/s: Server 2003

Here's IE

and here's Firefox

This happens quite a lot, more so when you zoom in. How can the map not be available for Firefox but is for IE ? :confused:

I've never had the map view do that to me. Satellite view sure. but map view never.

I don't get it. They seem to be 2 different areas. Are we comparing FF and IE or is Google Maps having a problem in that specific area?

It's worse than that, it's the same place, but Firefox is zoomed in further...

IIRC Google use a different image format for Firefox than IE, though I'd have thought they'd both be generated at the same time.

zoom IE in as much as firefox & it will happen in IE too

yeah my bad, postcode for the pics was SG2.

i've never noticed it before but i've been job hunting all week and having to look for company locations. When i use IE i can zoom in enough to see the minor road names but if try and use ff and zoom in the pics aren't displayed
