Anyone know about google accounts?

Both my phone (iphone 8) and computer are sign into the same google account but Google Maps doesn't show the device and an option to send directions to. I've tried signing out and back in on both devices and it's the same, it's only showing old devices which I've removed from my google account already.

Sorted it, Turning notifactions on the phone makes the phone listed in google maps in case anyone else gets the issue.
