Google Nest Cam help

Evening all

I've just bought a Nest Cam and doorbell.

I've set the camera up as per instructions, but during setup I couldn't get a live view. I continued the set up and put in place, still no live view although the camera lights up green as if its connected.

I've tried hard reset on the camera, reset my WiFi etc and still no improvement. I've even moved the camera indoors to set up next to the hub and no live view.

In addition to the green light coming on I do get alerts to say someone was seen.

Everything seems to work except for the live view.

Can anyone help resolve? I'm reluctant to install the doorbell because of these issues and tempted to request a refund
 
Does sound strange, have you tried googling your issue to see if anyone else have reported similar errors.
When I got mine a long time ago (1st Gen) it works first time but as your tested other routes then it COULD be the camera at fault.
 
Sounds a similar fault to a few people but can't seem to find a definitive fix. Have raised with Google support this morning and being referred to 'Senior' assistance
 
Can't replicate your issue on mine. Only way to turn mine off is to actually turn it off. Sounds faulty
 
I have had two nest cams for a few years now, they were originally set up through Nest before Google’s takeover. A couple of months back I added a wireless Google doorbell and had the same sort of problem, I could not view live on it.

When testing it I received an alert but couldn’t see who was ringing yet I could view the recording of it on the history. I tried for hours to solve the problem and in the end I sent the doorbell back
