Yeah you're absolutely right. The 4 and 5 were the only "cheap" ones. But some people think Google are obligated to now sell heavily subsidised phones.

As I said earlier the galaxy nexus I had was priced as high as any other flagship phone. As was the Nexus one and Nexus s. Google tried something different with the 4th nexus and when they found the pricing model was successful they done similar with the 5.

I like the route google have taken, I was all set for a note 4 but the nexus 6 is a no brainer for me.

This self entitlement that the nexus 6 MUST be cheap is similar to people complaining about ps plus not giving AAA games away lol. I'm still struggling to get my head around the notion that the nexus 6 is overpriced, how?! It's cheaper than other flagship phones yet has higher specs in most cases.

I guess some people have different definitions of what overpriced means....Overpriced for me would be if the nexus 6 had the same specs as the moto x but they were charging the same money as the current nexus 6.

Couldn't agree more :) Somebody has sense I see :p

If this was a Samsung phone, people wouldn't be complaining about the price. If it was an Apple product, people wouldn't be complaining about the price.

The question you have to ask (which you've said already but I'll repeat it anyway) is: are the specs worth the price? Yes, yes they are.

That's not what I said though. Because consumers demand Android phones from them, they have to keep using Android. Samsung now have to adhere to far more strict rules from Google.

Do you think Samsung wants to tone down Touchwiz? Of course not!

Whenever I used to go to the Genius Bar at the Southampton Apple Store, I used to get fantastic support.

When I've been to the Basingstoke Genius Bar, the support has been dire. I'm wondering if they're even properly trained anymore.
