I've disabled all haptic feedback/vibrations for mine except incoming calls and texts. The vibration motor is just horrible in this phone, nothing premium about it whatsoever. Some are nice and smooth but this thing is jerky and you hear it click a lot. Will likely look at the latest Note as my next phone as I'm quite liking the size of this breezeblock now.

Camera is more capable than I think it's been given credit for though, better for my usage than the iPhone was, especially in HDR mode.

Haptic is fine once you dial it back. I have it set to 80% via Franco.

I've tried that, it just seems to click slower. It seems to be the sound of one component hitting the other inside the motor. I'll be the first to admit that I spend a lot of time in quiet environments which doesn't help at all but it's also a fact I've not noticed these niggles with other phones. Maybe the speaker issue made me listen more closely, I don't know.

Other than that though, nothing to report and it's the smoothest android device I've used to date.

I only use vibrate, I've never heard a click at all? Sounds odd to me.

Its not loud at all, it happens when It vibrates a few times in a row. On the keyboard for example. Feels really weird running it with no vibration at all. On calls and texts it seems to vibrate quick enough to not click, its the slower vibrations that cause it.

I'm not describing it well, but I have seen someone else in this thread (I'm pretty sure) say the haptic isn't great. Its almost like you can hear/feel each individual component of the motor. Imagine a pendulum swinging but the swings are slightly uneven.

That's it, I'm done with the poor explanations, you guys are probably not neurotic enough to notice.:D

No, it just doesn't do it... :)

Well thanks for testing anyway, it's certainly nothing to put me off the phone.

Ironically, I missed the hell out of haptic on the iPhone keyboard. I was awful at typing on that keyboard without it but am perfectly able to use the android keyboard (without swiping) without it.

Does anyone know of a dock that will fit this phone? I know there's no specific one but maybe there's a generic one with micro usb that will work, a small tablet one or something.

Can any one recommend a decent tempered glass screen protector.

Bought some rubbish for £2 covered the proximity sensor and I now have the original protector back on with bubbles...

Really liking this phone for indoor use, screen is great, size isn't an issue and after using an iPhone 5 for the last few years being able to customise android with Nova, live wallpapers etc is appealing.

When out and about though I'm not so sure. It's a bit of a lump, especially when in a case and the screen is almost unusable in sunlight. I think this has more to do with reflections and the lack of any sort of polarising filter rather than a problem with brightness. Although I guess more brightness would help!

So, bit on the fence, might end up sending this back, despite the bargain price!

Don't do it man! The summer will be gone in a few weeks :D

I paid full whack for mine and still happy. Specs wise, it's better in my usage than anything else I've had. The dual speakers work better than on the HTC as they're further apart (I think) and they're awesome. Camera is perfectly good for me as long as I keep it in HDR and the screen is fine as I don't spend much time outdoors. Quick charging is a godsend and it lasts a full day with brightness on max the whole time and medium usage.

It is, however, a pain in the butt to have in any pocket other than a breast pocket (how I smashed mine) or a pocket in a laptop case if you happen to carry one. I had an iPhone before and am still stuck in 'kid gloves' mode, not that it saved my screen.
