Google now cards

A couple of daft questions but I am thinking of getting an iPad air 2 after a few years on android (my phone too) and wondered how easy it will be to sync the 2.

I love androids Google now cards/news/travel times on marshmallow - can I get these on IOS?

Also, having an android 6.0 phone - can I sync up calendars/chrome etc easily or is it hit and miss?

My other option is a pixel C tablet but the iPads seem to be better rated overall.

I don't think Google Now is any good on iOS. Granted, I only tried it once like 2 years ago and it was through the google app.

Calendars will sync fine and chrome will as well if you use the chrome app on iOS. Chrome app bookmarks are pushed I believe as they're always instantly on my phone afterwards. If you plan to use safari on your iPad, it's a bit hit and miss. If you can get the icloud extension to work on Chrome then it'll sync to safari on iOS a few minutes later. It's just a bit bad chrome to safari.
