Google Pay & Samsung Pay

I use Google pay on my phone very happily - decided that as Google Pay was non-manufacturer that is the option I'd choose.
I know own a Galaxy Watch and there is the option to setup Samsung Pay on this - however, it looks like I will also need to set this up on my phone.
Any issues with having both Google Pay and Samsung Pay setup on the same device? Is there an easy way to setup which one will be used by default?

Cheers for the answers. Still using Android Pay on my phone, but decided to setup Samsung pay on my watch because.....well, I can.
Installed in moments, First Direct approved me in about the same amount of time and tested it earlier.

Slight aside but how widely do you find Samsung Pay is accepted?

To be fair - how many places have you gone into that show "Android Pay" or "Google Pay"?
Most have the "Apple Pay" logo - but that is about it. However, I've not yet found a contactless terminal that wouldn't accept payment from my phone. I was very much under the impression it was the same deal - if its contactless it'll take Samsung Pay.
