I feel sad everyone, I've been using HTC exclusively since 2010. I started with the Desire as my first smartphone then got the famous HTC One M7 and now have the HTC U11. HTC was long in decline before the U11 and I have said when it's time for a new phone I'll move to Google Pixel, and now that time is here and I feel like I'm playing away from home.

It’s HTC now Google anyway?
 
Few reviews saying the FP sensor is still an issue, or not really changed much since the 6. Basically hit and miss.

Also seen quite a bit of criticism on the Pixel 7, saying it feels underwhelming and has a few weird design flaws.

Think I'll pass.

Weird. I've seen nothing but good things about the FPS and it's confirmed it's a new sensor inside.

I guess hit rate depends somewhat on how it's been setup by the user as well.

Did you see how MKB was hitting the fingerprint sensor? Like an absolute ****.

Works fine even on the 6 after the updates.

My Currys order (placed on the 8th) has shipped for tomorrow.

Gonna feel like a rocket compared to my 3XL but the camera is gonna be something else.

Still not ordered a case though. Want the Hazel Google one but it's never been in stock.
 
I've never had a problem with the FP sensor on the 6, it's always performed as well as the one on my s22 ultra. I much prefer a FP sensor on the power button though, the one on the flip3 and fold2 were perfect IMO, it seems like a solution in need of a problem.

That wouid mean a notch/ break in a case. Not for me.
