Is the shield appearing next to the battery icon before you're unplugging the phone? If not you need to keep charging the phone until it does. After it appears it should go back to charging to 80% next time.

Yes, get the shield at 100%, just charged it from 77% and it did stop at 80.
Then plugged it back in 20 minutes later and it went past 80 again. Quick Google suggests a few are seeing odd behaviour since about September.

Hi,

Since the last update I noticed 2 annoying things on my 8 Pro and was wondering if anyone else noticed the same

1 - The screensaver when charging is now a lot brighter than it was to the point it lights up the room so can't use it when charging overnight

2 - when browsing the internet and on this very forum when clicking a link it hangs and the screen goes blank, you have to go back click again and it loads

Just minor stuff really but curious to see if anyone else noticed the same

Cant say Ive noticed any difference in screen brightness when charging, but have had quite a few occasions where a link hangs/black screen in Chrome.

I've been getting this on in P8 over the past few days. I thought it was this website but maybe something deeper.

I initially assumed it was website or internet related, but it would appear to be phone related

I'm getting that too it appears. Just clicking the link to reply to this results in a white page until I close and re lick the link.

I get the same on Pixel 6. Happens on other websites and on two different browsers (Chrome and Opera).

Must be something to do with the update.

I get the same with clicking on some links including when there has been a post on an ocuk forum post I have subscribed to
