Can't give you exact figures but for home (which is abit of a signal dead spot) the pixel 6 was giving me around 123db.. 8 pro was giving me around 110 last night. So not a massive improvementWould anybody please report their signal strength including the dB figure? Interested to see how it compares against anyone coming from a 6 particularly
Nope-no time for that. Going back and getting a refund. Are you going to exchange it for another?
Uniform colour for me when replicating what you have.I mean if anyone is seeing the same thing then I'll leave it but seems a bit weird that it only happens in true dark/low light conditions...
The wallpaper is the default one so no issues of there being any hints of pink either.
Their performance this year has been shocking. My tracking on their site says pre-order accepted, but nowt else… DPD app showing nowt either.Anyone else getting one through EE? Got a pixel 8 pro through them which was supposed to be delivered today, however there's no order updates at all, not even showing is dispatched.
I messaged and they said the tracking isn't working and DPD has them, but don't have all that much confidence considering I've had nothing from DPD at all.

Some rather lovely punter chat on their community forums, lack of comms and some saying 28 days even though pre-ordered literally the second it was possible to... popular phone for them?!
The 8 uses the same old Exynos 5300 modem found in the 7 so I wouldn't expect any massive improvement in that area.Would anybody please report their signal strength including the dB figure? Interested to see how it compares against anyone coming from a 6 particularly
Not I don't see 25fps. There's "Auto", 24, 30 and 60. Some of the other settings like 10-bit HDR and stabilisation are not possible depending on the resolution and FPS selected.I noticed they have added 24 FPS to both the 1080p and 4k recordings. Can anyone confirm whether it also has 25 FPS for video?

Mmmm do you prefer the pink tint or the green tint from the mate 20 pro?......I'm noticing a pink tint to the left half to top of the screen on grey and white background.
This is on low brightness and solid colours.
Not promising.
Unsure as I locked my banking app out as pushed the wrong button during the automated call so now have to wait 7-10days for a letter in the post with a code.Anyone's banking app working via face unlock?

FPS is a funny one - I see this a lot, many people like shooting 24FPS - things like MTB (which I do) as it increases sense of speed. For some things it works well but 99% of the time much prefer the smoother more fluid and detailed footage 60fps gives you. Either way it's nice to have the option to choose what you like best, 24fps is missing.I still like shooting in 24/25 depending on the DSLR I had so having 24 gives it a great look in certain situations. Not overly keen on 60fps for everything.
