Google Pixel 8/8 Pro & Pixel Watch 2

Would anybody please report their signal strength including the dB figure? Interested to see how it compares against anyone coming from a 6 particularly
 
Is there any way to change the colour of the notification dot above icons?

If there is, I've been all through the settings and can't find it.

Can't give you exact figures but for home (which is abit of a signal dead spot) the pixel 6 was giving me around 123db.. 8 pro was giving me around 110 last night. So not a massive improvement
 
Anyone else getting one through EE? Got a pixel 8 pro through them which was supposed to be delivered today, however there's no order updates at all, not even showing is dispatched.

I messaged and they said the tracking isn't working and DPD has them, but don't have all that much confidence considering I've had nothing from DPD at all.
 
Promising to hear the video side of things has been improved by Google.
I was never a fan of the P2 and my current P5's video capabilities.
The colour and light shift along with low light artefacts would make it unusable for anything beyond quick captures.

I noticed they have added 24 FPS to both the 1080p and 4k recordings. Can anyone confirm whether it also has 25 FPS for video?

Their performance this year has been shocking. My tracking on their site says pre-order accepted, but nowt else… DPD app showing nowt either.

Some rather lovely punter chat on their community forums, lack of comms and some saying 28 days even though pre-ordered literally the second it was possible to... popular phone for them?!

Not I don't see 25fps. There's "Auto", 24, 30 and 60. Some of the other settings like 10-bit HDR and stabilisation are not possible depending on the resolution and FPS selected.

I still like shooting in 24/25 depending on the DSLR I had so having 24 gives it a great look in certain situations. Not overly keen on 60fps for everything.

FPS is a funny one - I see this a lot, many people like shooting 24FPS - things like MTB (which I do) as it increases sense of speed. For some things it works well but 99% of the time much prefer the smoother more fluid and detailed footage 60fps gives you. Either way it's nice to have the option to choose what you like best, 24fps is missing.
