Argh! Ok so got a Pixel 8 a week or so ago and paired with my car (VW if it makes a diff?!) and BT headphones (Jaybird Vista). Everything was working great... audio (youtube etc) fine. Phone calls fine. Every now and then the helpful phone would pop up a message "hey this new feature is x/y/z do you want to enable it?". Why not! "Screen calling", "Hold for me" etc. Switch them all on! Then another one popped up (something with assisted in the title) and I didn't read it properly - but clicked yes. Since then phone call audio only now won't go via bluetooth. When I make a call I get the background static type noise in my headphones, but the audio comes out of the phone and I'm 99% sure the mic on the phone is used as well.
I've tried "forgetting" my BT device and re-adding but no dice.
Any ideas what I need to disable to get it back to normal? I know everything is connected fine as I'm listening to YT via headphones right now.
