Google Pixel 9 Series (9/9 Pro/9 Pro XL/9 Pro Fold & Pixel Watch 3)

sorry, double tap works to wake the screen, but not to sleep.
Just found there are a few apps available as a workaround, like this one:
I now have a transparent widget on my homescreen and a button in the quick settings, pull down.
They do require the accessibility permission though.
Ok, that's how it is on my Samsung now. I use Nova Launcher for the double tap to sleep

So, pre-orders will allegedly start on March 19, and the phone will start shipping on March 26 - which is also when it will become available in stores.

The Pixel 9a is rumored to come with a 6.28-inch OLED screen with 2,700-nit peak brightness, the Tensor G4 SoC, 8GB of RAM, a 48 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultrawide, and a 5,100 mAh battery. It will be offered in four colorways: Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris, and Peony.

Some great deals on at the moment via ID Mobile. Tempted to finally upgrade from my Pixel 5.
I was contemplating iPhone 15/16 Pro but having recently used a P7 Pro and seeing the camera and video is a big step up then can only imagine the 9 takes it up a notch or two more.

Finally managed to get an esim from O2.

Tried yesterday, but after requesting, they disabled my physical sim and issued an esim. But then I couldn't log into their app to download the esim because it wanted to send me security codes via text message which I was unable to receive due to the physical sim being disabled.
After calling again to have the physical sim turned back on again I ran out of codes yesterday and could not log in again until this afternoon.

Today the agent swapped my contact details before doing the switch, so I could receive codes on my old phone/2nd number.
Then had to set up a hotspot so the pixel could connect and dl the esim. Sheesh..
