Google Pixel and Pixel XL

I would say that the 6P is just as premium of a product as the pixel, if not more. The only real advantage the pixel has over the 6P is the camera and it's not like the 6P camera is bad in the first place + supposedly the preview for 7.1 is bringing a lot of the camera improvements to the 6P/5X.

Battery life?

Also the screen doesn't have that horrible yellow tint.

As mentioned in my last post, the pixel will be better for battery life due to the hardware differences. Saying that, iirc, a lot of the improvements are also brought by 7.1, which the 6P will get. Either way, you will still have to charge both phones every 1-2 days just like the majority of phones out there.

I had 3 nexus 6P units and none had a yellow tint, one had a slight pink hue when viewing off centre but this is "usually" an issue with OLED mobiles, at least in my experience... It is worth baring in mind that a well calibrated screen with a colour temperature of 6500k should be on the warmer side (yellow tint) than the cooler side (blue tint) too.

mrk will be happy then :D

You mean raymond lin? :p :D

Coming from a note 7, just picked mine up.

Feels more solid than the note 7. Chin isn't as noticeable as it was in photos and videos, seems stupidly fast even compared to the note 7. Screen is just as nice as the note, feels nicer to hold due to not being as slippery, camera is easily on par with the note too.

imo in real life it looks nothing like in pictures! I really like the look and feel.

Went into the shop to have a play with the pixel it's nice and the screen is amazing but does look like a htc and an iPhone got it on and produced that.

Think I prefer the one plus to it and I have an iPhone so not biased to either brand

No voucher anywhere and I can't see it preloaded anywhere. I guess I'll have to pop into CPW store on the way home.

Not used it a lot yet but I do like the feel of it.

Wasn't the voucher only for the people that pre-ordered it online?

I preordered in store for store colletion.

Although my receipt said it was preloaded, it wasn't but as I mentioned earlier I got the voucher.
Tut tut, that's naughty!

Have CPW bumped the Samsung and Apple products further down the store? IE has Google paid for Prime Location at the front of the store?

Not in my local store. Samsung is still the first stand as you walk in, then Apple and then Google down the back - they were putting a big balloon display around the stand and all the staff were wearing Google t-shirts though.

So, what's it like then people?

Compared to my note 4 it is very good. Fast, very fast. Feels nice in my hand. Call quality very clear (the note 4 was awful) and battery is good, from full charge when I got it first thing this morning it is still at 56%. The note would have needed a charge by this time. I don't use the camera much so haven't tested it yet.

Ditto - I think 5/6 hours+ SOT should easily be possible on the XL :)
