Not sure if this is best place, but meh :D

Has anyone noticed that googles DNS servers are playing up today, it's affecting a lot of my customers and colleagues in other companies.

Seems to be causing a lot of problems! Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

Yes, 8.8.8.8 in particular was broken last night and not resolving a load of stuff. I switched my primary to 4.2.2.1 (Verizon).

It hasn't affected everywhere, I still have internet connection here at work, and I'm dialled into my home PC, it works fine

ipconfig /flushdns on the local machine having issues with the new settings? Just in case there's any weird results still in cache?

Wonder when it'll be sorted anyhow...

Set your primary to OpenDNS and your secondary to Google DNS instead. That way if one's down your system/router will use the other.

OpenDNS 208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220
Google DNS 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4
