Google Sync - Calendar

Hey,
I am trying to sync my Google Calendar to my current Windows Mobile 6.1 device. I open the active sync app on the phone and enter in the correct settings and press sync but nothing appears in the in phone calendar application.

I have tried this on both my device and my mum's device which is also a windows mobile phone.

Any ideas?
