Strange one this. I got an email from google giving me a link to reset my password, you know the type when you click the forgotton password link. The thing is I didn't request it. It was sent to '[email protected]', however my email is '[email protected]'. I thought, ah someone just has the wrong address. So I sent a mail to '[email protected]' to inform him of his error. The mail came back to me! I can only assume the google ignores full stops in usernames. If so, who asked for the password to be reset?

It's probably a phishing email.
If you send an email to: '[email protected]' you'll also find that it goes to you
