Google Web Toolkit

An interesting framework for web development which will translate Java to HTML and JavaScript using AJAX technology.

I don't think it will change the face of the web but its certainly a worthwhile addition to the suite of tools out there and if you want to create a site that will comply with the standards then this could save some headaches.

Pretty nice idea though, especially for existing Java programmers, although it does somewhat strike me as a bit of a WYSIWYG for javascript. And WYSIWYG's never produce clean code - I'd be interested to see some compiled output.
