Hey all,

My MobileMe subscription has just ran out and I'm contemplating switching to GoogleSync instead of paying £59 a year. I have a Mac and iPhone so MM been perfect in the past. I forward emails from my personal domain to the .me account and that pushes the emails to my phone. Syncing the contacts and calendars are vital too.

Which do you guys prefer? How stable is GoogleSync and has anyone had any issues syncing it with net/mac/iphone?

Btw, anyone know how long you can accept email after your MM subscription runs out?

Thanks :)

I've done exactly this. My .me sub expires this month so have switched over to Google Sync. No trouble at all to be honest, takes a bit longer for contacts to push from Address Book to Gmail but thats no biggie.

I think when my MobileMe expired, Apple sent me an email saying I would get a 14 day grace period on the email side, however access to everything else would be limited.

Still considering renewing it though

I'd not pay the full price but I picked my renewal up for forty quid on eBay.

Definitely go with Google Sync! I've been syncing between an iPod Touch, N95 8GB, Web and Mac and it's all worked perfectly :)
