GoPro 3 external mic

Hi guys, bought an external mic and adaptor for my GoPro 3. What's the best way of modifying the case to allow it to work?

I'm assuming it doesn't matter whether I chose the waterproof one or the one with the but back?

Why not just buy the skeleton housing?

Its the product specifically designed to do what you want, without having to cut up a normal case or modify a microphone cable.

Cheers, bought. I've spent so much money on this thing now.

£270 in the Groupon deal I think, then £50 for this housing, £25 for the mic, another £20 odd for the card, and £10 odd for the adaptor.
