Is the GoPro Hero 3 worth it and is the 4k a gimmick? at 15fps, your not going to get much use out of it are you. I think its just been added as another selling point.
 
It reall does not matter how many threads there are, people go on about differant things and I would like this one specifically, cannot be bothered with these arguments about duplicate threads on here but close if you want. This was not a general thread but specific of the question asked which makes it entirely differant.

Yes and no.

They are obviously having a willy wave by having that as their headline feature. But really it's what's behind it that matters. The higher res allows the lower res' to have more fps.

So the most common HD res 1080 gets 60fps which is outstanding really. You're going to get some crisp shots that can be shown in sweet slo mo
 
That aside, what does it matter if there are 30 threads or 30 million threads, at least people want to use this forum but half the time people get made a fool of, well sir get somebody to close this thread if it makes them feel like a boss

I think that the 720p 120fps should be really good for super slow mo's with frame blending
