GoPro Hero 9 plus Subscription Deal...any catches?

Hi all,

Thinking about getting a GoPro Hero 9 and see that GoPro are offering a 'discount' where you can purchase the GoPro 9 plus 1 years GoPro subscription for £330; compared with buying just the GoPro 9 for £430.

Seems like a good deal provided you remember to cancel the subscription after 1 year.

Any thoughts...am I missing anything?

You might even be able to cancel the subscription immediately but still use it for 12 months.

If you’re buying the Hero9 anyway, save yourself £100.
 
Done some more research. Subscription is £50/year, if you cancel before 12 months you have to pay the difference between the 'discounted' price and the RRP of the GoPro ie £100.
You can cancel after 12 months with no penalty.
Looks like a decent deal tbh
 
Nice one may I ask what else you purchased?

I am heavily considering grabbing this for commuting to and from work and the travel videos.

Did you purchase any cool mounts ?
 
Max Lens Mod (out of stock now for what seems to be forever), and I scratched the lens on it last week (grrr! Causes minor lense flare)

ND filers by PolarPro but not discounted because it's third party.

3-way stick which is really nice.
