Used the free GoPro own software ,which is fine, but prefer iMovie

I think the GoPro editing software is pretty idiot proof

plenty of You Tube vids available.

Ok well assuming you're on windows give the movie maker freebe a go, or the GoPro software like suggested then as you build on it work towards something more advanced if you get right into it.
