GoPro V03.00 Problems

GoPro users may also have or have had this problem. A few weeks ago I updated my GoPro's firmware from V2 to V03.00 and since then, I have been unable to view the contents. I am on windows 7 and have spoken to GoPro who say that the firmware update changes the camera to an MTP device.

I have updated windows
Installed Windows 7 Portable Device Enabling Kit for MTP, Version 7R2 (As told by GoPro)

So the GoPro does not show up in windows explorer at all. You can see it as a device in 'Devices and printers' but when you go into it, you are unable to actually get into the device.

Please help!

Without wishing to sound flippant, you really ought to be going to Go Pro with these issues.

I have been in talks with GoPro for ages and not getting anywhere. I have reformatted the SD and placed the update from gopro on there to reload the firmware onto the camera. It still doesnt work. I surely cant be the only one with this problem. I have tried on multiple machines with the same fault.
