Gordon Brown - Blind in one eye?

Just heard that our PM to be is actually blind in one eye after a rugby accident when he was younger. Does anyone know if he's missing the eye or just blind in it? Its hard to get a definate answer on google so just wondering if any of you chaps know. Not that it makes any difference to the man but really suprised I hadnt heard of this before!

Well I always thought he had a glass eye from his facial mannerisms so maybe he does.

I heard something similar regarding a rugby accident as a teenager and loss of sight in one eye, however I think the sight loss isn't complete in the affected eye

Thats exactly where i heard it, yep.

I wasnt that keen on the idea of him being PM to begin with but i think im coming round now. I dont think he's the sort of man to stand for any nonsense...more of a WYSIWYG kinda bloke i think. Time will tell i suppose...

My sister is blind in one eye, she doesn't drive, but apart from that life is very normal for her.
