Should I get:

A dual core AMD CPU
2Gb of dual channel memory
another 7800GT gfx card for SLi ?

My existing setup:

AMD64 3500+
2x512MB Corsair XMS3200
2x36Gb SATA Raptors (I don't need more space as have servers)
Leadtek 7800GT PCIe

I am a gamer. Although when not gaming I use office stuff for making databases and websites.

Thanks

is any of it worth it at the moment?

your current chip you could easily overclock from 2.2 to 2.5-2.6

ram is probably the best bet id say.

or save your money and get a direct x10 card and a new chip in the new amd line later this year as at the moment im sure nothing struggles on your comp

Would say ... AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ (Socket 939) - OEM (CP-152-AM)

I say, either get yourself another gig of RAM, or invest in one of the new socket 939 dual core CPU's that will be coming out in June.

I would keep it for the Dx10 cards myself what you have just now is pretty decent. If you are desprately wanting to upgrade Ram would be the best.

If you wanted to do the CPU go for the 3800+ x2 i got mines at 2.7Ghz stable(on air) its an super chip
