Bought a bottle of Frijj this evening from ASDA which is marked as being in date on the bottle (20/07/13), but it is clearly out of date. It tastes absolutely rank and smells really sour.

Is it even worth ringing the hotline on the bottle? If anyone's had a similar problem what are they likely to do?

I really cba to drive back to ASDA over the sake of a £1.25 milkshake.

I emailed muller after getting no crispy balls in a crunch corner. Told them it ruined my day as I was looking forward to their chocolatey and toffee flavoured treat and they sent me a load of vouchers.

Ring Friij and tell them

Had a bad bag of skips once, very stale.

I cried for about 30 minutes, but after that i continued with my day regardless.

Ring them. Make up something like, "My son was really looking forward to this after school!"
They will usually be sympathetic.

I once bought a bottle of milk that was sour. I'm still not over it, and i have nightmares and sometimes wake up in the middle of the night with a cold sweat, screaming : "please god! Why me?"

Ah, that moment when your mouth starts watering, you unscrew the lid, peel back the foil film, lick your lips and take a big swig. Then you realise the devil has just taken a **** in your mouth.

That depends on whether a few more bottles of Frijj is what you really want in exchange for five minutes of your life.

At £1.25 a go, a voucher to the value of a few bottles is probably worthwhile of 5 minutes effort. Let's assume they send him a voucher for £5 worth of product. If he regularly buys Frijj anyway that £5 cost avoidance against future purchases is as good as £5 in additional earnings.

I always have complained in these types of situation when I've been left dissatisfied with the quality of a product. I've pretty much always had a positive outcome and therefore will continue to complain.

He could have pretty much have written and sent an email (no need to pay for a stamp) in the time it took to write his forum post!

Very good peternem, however you've ignored the factor of whether you'd actually want to drink any more of the crap, which was my point really.
