always thought that was odd to put in the name going to stay in the city rather than their rooms as it is a bit middle of nowhere. only place nearby to go for a few beers after would be DTD poker club and I think that would be pushing my luck a bit with the missus

thanks it really does, my brother goes often and has said for a while that it was nailed on for a second star, just hope he doesn't get above himself in terms of price and local allegiance


afaik this is the only 2* in the northern 2/3rds of England which is a real shame
