But I don't think i have a choice. I recently had a vision M and it was very annoying using it within OSX. Not only that but I really didn't like the menu navigation. It was slow and unresponsive allot of the time. Although the audio was top notch.

Regardless of that, it was stolen yesterday. I'm now looking for a quick buy. A long time ago i owned the ipod mini and I thought they were cack, audio wise.

I've heard allot of improvments have been made to the 5th gen Ipod so im very tempted to go that direction, plus the ease of use with itumes and moving songs.

All i simply want is good audio quality, which is also why im paring it up with Sony EX90.

What do you guys think? bearing in mind it was to work with a mac. Size isn't to much of an issue as long as it's 4 gig and over.

Cheers.

What you need is something with UMS support. Have you considered a iAudio X5?

another vote for the iaudio x5. I read reviews for months b4 buying mine and at the time it was rated the best player out there. couldnt fault it at all.
