Got a new case, got a stupid question.

Thought as much. If it's not running warm can would popping the lid on to make it quieter mess up the air flow too much?

The top fan may get noisier if it's obstructed by the top panel. May as well just remove the top fan and have all the air going from front to back.

Issue is there is only 1 space at the back for a fan and it's a 120mm one. I'll keep it as is for now and see how it goes. Might need to revisit it in summer.

Ok thanks for your advice. It only takes the 120's at the front, i'll stick the spare one i have in and maybe install the 140mm one in the top when it gets warmer.

You can put 140mm fans in the front According to the specs.

- Cooling: Front - 3 x 120mm, 2 x 140mm (120mm included), Top - 2 x 120mm, 1 x 140mm, Rear - 1 x 120mm (included)

I slid the front mounted 120mm fan down and installed the 140mm above it. Should do well enough for getting air in. I have a 120mm spare which I could install above the CPU to help extract, possibly drilling a load of holes in the removeable cover so I don't have to have the whole thing off.
