got a new case is it realy that easy to change over

Very easy, but make sure everything is backed-up.

I tend to ensure each SATA cable goes back to the correct drive and plugged back into the correct SATA port and take your time, if your overclocked save the profile to the BIOS or write down the settings just in case.

I have found that it never seems to go as smoothly as you would like but as RJC says try to make sure each SATA cable goes back to the correct drive and plugged back into the correct SATA port and take your time. Definitely take your time.

Check everything twice before committing yourself.

I have taken on board the above and have left sata cables plugged in.. as I have 2 different colours easy to remember which drive to plug back in to... so far so good. Just pcu and gpu to go...

Take loads of pics off all you current connections with your phones camera.

Label up you SATA connections with numbers on scotch tape and match them to the picture in your mobo's manual.

Make sure you put the mobo riser nut things in the right place, you wouldn't want to short your mobo out.

all done just got to get some longer screws for top fans and some cable ties for cables below my gpu looks so omessy at mo.. but all in all for my first time went well and for me thats impresive lol....
