Got a new job!

After being dissapointed for not being able to get a job higher up in the location I'm in at the moment due to being colour blind, which means I can't work with broadcast material. So that kinda put a downa on me but now I've been offered a better job with more money and hopefully more interesting, I'll be changing location to Soho, although still at the same company and doing video encoding for a number of different clients including Universal and Apple

video enconding, basically means copying broadcast quality tapes to computers, editing it a bit and then encoding it for online distribution or dvd, so encoding to mpeg2, wmv, mpeg4, quicktime etc depending on the client spec.

I suppose I could, especially once all those pay to download movies things start up as I'll probably be doing a fair bit of work for it possibly
