Got a pc again

Lost interest in 2014 when I started making drugs. I had a a i2500k, 8gig ram gtx 480 etc.

Found a hp pavilion 500-141ea in a skip few days ago.

Not got a keyboard and mouse yet but it posts. Cant find the hdd. Might not have an os on it. Going to buy a ssd and mouse and keyboard in a fortnight when I get paid and have a play around.

Few questions.

The graphics card has hdmi out. Is sound passed through this?

Is this pc good enough for the last starcraft 2 expansion and the Cnc remasters? They look like the only games in the last 7 years that I want to play.

Yes sound should pass through HDMI. For Command and Conqueror the minimum spec is listed as an Athlon 64 so I think you should be just fine!

I've completed starcraft 2 and the zero one just need to do the photos one. I enjoyed it solid 8/10.
CNBC I completed 25 years ago. Again solid ,8/10.

Just need to get my steam and blizzard account recovered

The funny thing is, having an in-law who is sub contracted by council for waste I actually believe someone would fish that sort of thing out of a skip

Anyway. Will the motherboard in this fit in a more modern case? Will probably hate the performance and want more again. So will probably go case, psu. Then when funds allow cpu mobo ram and then graphics
