I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question but my motherboard only has space to plug in two case fans. I just got a new case the alows me to have up to 8 fans so what I want to know is if there is a way I have all the fans running. Can I buy splitters or extensions just a way that I can power the fans without buying a new motherboard.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

u could buy connectors so you can run them from the 12v rail on your PSU, you can buy fans with molex connectors as standard, this would mean they run at full speed constantly tho, might want to invest in a speed controller for them if your case doesnt have one built in

Will they alow me to plug upto 3 fans into a molex? And well I'm going to be buying the H100i for my cpu cooling aswell will that change anything?

The above would allow 3 fans per convertor, as i dont have a fan controller im not sure how they would wire in via that

Oh right fair enough sounds good though. Would I be able to use them through the software that's compatibe with the H100i do you know?
