Well i got myself a new Tagan 580w modular today hoping it would sort out the mass of loose cables i had.

ive got a Super Lanboy case so its a squeeze, more so than i thought it would be.

Moved the DVDRWs down a bay each and tried to hide some of the cables in the top bay.

Tried to keep things as tidy as possible, but the cables themself arent very flexible

Have i done a decent job? How could i improve things?

Looks ok to me, theres a not a great deal of room in my case. I maty get a shorter IDE cable for the HDD, or get the SATA version of the Plextor

Lol, you're like person 1001 telling me! :p It was fine, but now I got a 7800gtx 512mb which is less bent. Btw, it's a x1800xt 512mb on the picture

I still think you can do LOADS of cable tidying. I have no experience with the lan boy case, but I'm building a rig for a friend of mine with it in about 1-2 weeks :)

salabra what cpu block is that? is it any good?

It's a apogee. I know many of you aren't fan of them, but I think it works excellent. I've run my x2 3800+@3ghz and more than 1.7V without problems :D . Not stable though. My DFI board reports all wrong temps, I idle below ambient temp, and with no oc I dual prime95 at 25c. You do the math...

Well im really happy with the upgrade so far. Fitted the Freezer at the same time as the PSU and my cpu now idles at 35 degrees running at 2.6Ghz - probably due to better airflow and the better cooler.

That doesnt look too bad actually, in fact I like it. Try to hide as most cables as you can behind the hard drives. :) Other than that, it looks good.

Heres a pic of mine but I dont even have a lot of things in it :p

lol that's not half as bad as my 6800Ultra :(

It's so bent that I've had to prop it up with a small stick of wood. I thoguht it was pressure from the power cable pushing it down (as it is a tight fit) but it still hangs far down. Seems to be fine though. It's a damn heavy card.

Your cables look about the same as mine were, I'm never too fussed about it as long as there isn't cables dragging into the cpu fan or covering large hot areas of the motherboard.

I recently pulled my PC to bits to re-apply some thermal paste and when I put it back together I didn't bother tidying it again so its a bit messy atm :p
