Got a V3, what to download?

Right something to trasfer all my contacts to it, as there's no way I am going to type in 100 or so phone numbers

and whatever else is useful. I traded my p900 with it for £10, I was kinda sick of the big guy

You use your simcard to transfer the contacts data to it from your old phone.

All my numbers where on my old phone, I transfered them to my pc, now I need to find the installation files to make the phone appear on windows via usb, I have no contacts saved on my sim. Any idea how to do that? I tried using the backup from motorola's website but for some reason I can't download that.

you want motorola phone tools to do it mate. I assume you have either a usb cable or bluetooth on the pc?

I got a usb cable to connect it, but I couldn't find something on their website, time to google for motorola tools I guess!

edit: The download page is not working, have you got the usb installation files by any chance?

MPT should come on a cd with the phone, I don't think its available for donwload from the motorola website. You may be able to find it somewhrere over at www.motox.info though.
