hey guys,

i was having ago at ocing my i5 2500k on my msi z68a-gd65 (g3) it was fine at 4.3 then i changed the multi to 44 rebooted and the system crapped out. it finally started back up and i set all the settings to default. got logged back into windows and shut the system down.

when i went to turn it back on it booted for a couple of seconds then went off then came back on and booted into windows. i've been trying to get some help from the msi forum too.

i really can't figure out whats wrong with it, it also seems to be taking along time from starting up to getting the post beep. the beep is also longer than i'm used to as well from other motherboards but it's always been like that since i put it together.

any help on this would be great

Cheers.

have you tried resetting the cmos?
just remove the watch battery on the mobo for 1 min and refit.
this will reset the mobo

yeah i've done that but had not luck with it. i've left a message on the overclockers tech support section as there's no answer on the phone. also sent a message to msi customer support. it's getting really annoying as i can even do a simple oc like setting my ram to the correct rating :/
