got another 3870 instead of x2

ok well i have done it , i have a his iceq 3870 512 gddr4 and i was going to return it and get a x2 , but insted i have gone for the option of the other his iceq gddr4 and will run them in cross fire on my pcie2 x38 mobo ,
i took it that i will have gddr4 instaed of the gddr3 of the x2 , and the fact my his has overclocked to 885 on the core and 2150 on the memory i will bench once i get card on friday , cant wait now think i made a good decision?

i did lol , and the fact that there is some debate as to wether the x2 is pci2 ? i know the 3870 is?

x2 has tighter timings on memory and more shaders than 2 3870s but your call dude plus xfire and sli are always improving.

it has the same amount of shaders? 640?
