Didn't realize we had e Small Form Factor forum so posted it in Overclocking and Cooling. Sorry. If I had know I would have posted it here as this is where it really belongs... even if it will cool high power CPU's.
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18477087

Tomorrow I'm going to run some more load tests with TY-100 fan set at 2250, 2000, 1750, 1500rpm... if it will keep my 920 cool at 1500 under full load. ;)

I've never played with a quality cooler this small. It's like 2 120mm fans stacked together.

Hmm, could you measure the total height, is it under 70mm?

I could but I won't.

Edit: I gave more info but decided you can use the link above. If it's too much work or too complicated for you to read one post in a new thread than why should I take time to help?

Added the results of 1500, 1600, 1750, 2000 & 2250 rpm tests. AXP-100 cooled i7 920 at 76-78-77-75c & 1500rpm with cooler exhaust 47c. Will idle at 1200rpm @ 37-36-41-36c. I'm very pleased with it.

Jesus wept, get a grip.
I read your link above, before you posted info regarding the measurements, so when you posted here, I just responded asking a question not knowing that you had subsequently posted the info in the other thread that I am following.

Anyway that aside, thank you for the info in your other thread, it is useful and makes my CPU cooler choice much easier now.

The thread I linked to was posted long before I posted here with link to it. And the first post in link has a link at the bottom of it to all the measurements on Thermalright website. Guess you didn't see it.

I don't remember the measurements so would have had to look them up.. hardcopy or online same diff. Just figured it takes same amount of time for you as for me. :D

Sorry I seem harsh, but I put lots of work into this. It gets frustrating when someone wants more and it's so easy for them to do it for their self.

It depends on the fan you put on it, but most will be under 70mm.

With the supplied TY-100 it actually measures 60mm from my board. Hope this helps.
You might want to check that measurement. That's less the 2mm more than actual cooler is... CPU face in socket is usually 6-9mm above above motherboard.

AXP-1000 on i7 920 measures 66.6mm from face of fan to motherboard.

AXP-100 is 44.15mm
TY-140 is 14mm
i7 920 & socket about 8.5mm.
