Parked my car with drivers door curbside, came out, closed my door and got 'groined' by some guy riding on the pavement.. who had the audacity to start cussing me out for being in his way.
He then rode off before i could even get a word in as i was winded to say the least. Looked about but theres no cctv that i can see, really annoyed. Surely me being a 'pedestrian' when i came out the car gives me the right of way?
looked like he was a 'pro' rider as well, helmet and tights etc..

A 'pro' rider wouldn't be on the pavement and its illegal for adults to ride on it?

Not sure what you want, so have a hug.

Probably arknor. He's the spandex team sky wannabe.

I got hit by a cyclist once. Crossing the road at a red light and the ****er kept coming. What can you do.

Some 'pavements' are also designated cycle paths, which allows them to be ridden on.
Indeed. Milton Keynes has a cycle path network which spans the entire city, yet I constantly see the team Sky wannabes riding 4ft into the nearside lane of a dual carriageway, mere metres from a cycle path. Idiots.

......apples?
Balls. He means his balls.

lol the other day I was cycling down the road going about 25mph, some other stupid teenage cyclist comes from the pavement cutting across the road without looking if anything is coming , almost gets ran over by a taxi driver who beeps and yells at him.
the stupid teenage kid stops in my lane of the road to hurl abuse back at the taxi driver without even looking if any traffic is coming.

he's lucky I didn't ride into him at 25mph!

not all cyclists are bad! for every idiot there's at least 10 good ones!

I find it funny however that I see the police who are on bikes ... On the pavement!!!
some pavements are also cycling paths but the signs usually aren't in very good places so you won't even realise unless you are looking for them

No I'm not! I wear jeans and a T-shirt + obey the law and be a good cyclist.

Just don't expect me to ride in the gutter on narrow roads because some people over take way to close and the road is usually uber bumpy near the kerb so it can be easy to catch a pedal on the kerb which sends you flying into the path of anything behind you

It's illegal for anyone to ride on a footway that is not a designated cycling path unless it is not next to a road it's just people under a certain age can't be prosecuted so get ignored (although some police don't realise the difference between footways , footpaths and the pavement)
