Right so my stuff has got here Yay.
i have managed to install the CPU, RAM, graphics card and the wireless card
but i hae so many cables and dont know what goes where
is there a guide or something online that shows what goes where?

I'm assuming you've got the mobo and PSU installed in the case? If not you'll need to do so first before wiring...

I have the mobo in the case but the PSU is one of the parts i dont know what goes where. i found out my only camera (is on my phone) is very S*** in the dark, i have all the lights on in the room but the pictures are too dark is there anyone it can be done without sending pics in?

We can try. If you tell me what need wiring then I can tell you what wires go into it from where.
The PSU should be mounted at the top or bottom back end of the case using 4 screws. It normally goes above the mobo but in some spaces it goes below. Have a look in your case's instructions

right i am SLOWLY getting there - have the PSU connected to the powerslot, but i sitll have a 4point and an 8point connecter from the PSU that is not going anywhere and none of the slots on the PSU are being used.

i still dont know where connecters : SW power, SW Reset, HDD LED and power LED go. i also have a red connecter that seems to be able to plug into the HHD but not sure where that goes and i have some other cables that came with the case that i dont know where they go - they dont seem to fit any slots on the PSU.

i know its hard helping me with no pics but if i can get as much done now, it means less to do tomorrow any more help would be great

The 4 point or 8 point connector are power leads and will connect to the motherboard. Use your motherboard manual to ascertain which to use. Use either/or not both.

Above all else TAKE YOUR TIME.

Excuse the use of capitals, but rushing, especially when you're a novice, will only lead to mistakes and destroyed hardware.

Google for a help guide to building a PC, there are plenty out there with illustrations to assist you.

The link provided by RJC in post#7 should help you work out which motherboard headers to plug the front panel connectors into.

Really you need pics for us to help your properly. As for the mini connectors with the Reset SW, Power SW etc, they should be going from your case to your motherboard. The sockets are usually located at the bottom of the board. You will need to refer to your motherboard manual which will show you which cable goes to which socket.

they are both Yellow and black, i have no more connecters that i could connect them too?

i also have the GPU connected on the GPU side but where does that connect to? i have one connection on it and that has 2 connections coming from it both the same - 3 points with one space

As said. You only need one of the 4/8 pin connectors. It should be fairly obvious from the mother-board which and where.
The case connections (sw power etc.) will all go into a set of pins in a rectange, simillar to an old IDE socket. You'll have to consut the mobo manual for the correct order.
The red cable I assume is a SATA? It should plug into a sort of 'L-shaped' connector on the motherboard.
I hope that makes sense, it's quite hard to explain connections without images :)

The only cables going to the GPU will be power cables, have a look at what is supplied with the PSU, it should be fairly obvious which cables to use.

there are 2 x 4connecter for the GPU none of which can be connected to the PSU or from the PSU to the GPU. i have been at this for coming on 4hours :( though i dont mind, would rather get it right then blow it up :)

yes the red cable i believe is SATA, what l-shaped connector there are 5 named sata 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 :) i guess i go with 1?

witth the PSU i have one connected to the EATX Power, which seems right its massive pile of cables which just leaves the 2 yellow and black ones that have no where to be connected???

The beauty of SATA is that all the connectors run independently. You can take your pick. Go for your luck number! Or just got for 1, it might be simpler ;)

Number 3 it will be then, okay nevermind i will go with number 1 - easier :)
a quick update : got the LED, Poer SW ect connected to the Motherboard :)
i also have the USB connections done

what about chassis fan and power fan?
how do i connect these? i think other then the CPU and the GPU the rest are connected now

you guys are great thanks for all this help :)
