Got my 1800XT today to replace my 6600GT.

Where can I find an application to remove the 6600GT drivers?

How much of an improvement will I see from my 6600GT?

Drivercleaner will do for removing the drivers. You ought to see a massive improvement in performance terms providing the rest of your system can vaguely keep up.

My system is a AMD 3700+ with 1.5 GB mem. Hope there will not be too much of a bottleneck.

3700+ is fine for these, I overclocked my CPU 200MHz to get 3700+ speeds for mine. Runs a lot better now than it did with my CPU at stock. RAM isn't a problem with them either, I've seen some great scores on machines with 1GB.

The performance increase will be staggering, i went to an x1800 XT from an x800 XT PE, and i was totally blown away.

Got mine yesterday but it's still in it's box and I'm going away for the weekend! Really want to get it installed! One thing I will say is that if performance gets better with weight this card should fly!
