after being told my psu would be fine (cx500) i was playing battlefield 4 on ultra and i noticed the pc felt hot could have been normal then i got a crash something about dx something error device removed? anyone had this problem is it related to my psu?

it was the latest beta drivers from when i had my 7850 i thought they all ran off the same thing so didnt bother, just uninstalled it from device manager and trying the beta drivers, im thinking this is related to my psu if so it looks like im gonna have to spend more than I would from ocuk and go to that pc store in the high street

installed hw monitor or something along them lines got it running now gonna try crash the game to see what temps it hits, ill run 3d mark later on

was running extreme 3d mark checked after burner 60* is that normal ill run bf4, im thinking about putting my psu to take air out and not in

I just uninstalled reinstalled but upon boot I got a low res so just let windows do it by going to update driver from device man

No crashes but hasn't been the map that I was on I've found that the heat is coming out of the side of the card where the metal plate is I don't know if its a design flaw or what either way I've had to keep my side off and can feel the heat right now

i have the latest catalyst, I dont know if its related to the design of the card as you can feel heat blowing out bad from the side of the card where the grills are when the fan kicks in

on that picture the bit where it says gigabyte is where the heat comes from more than the fans

Only time I've seen a DX error in BF4 is when my clocks were unstable. Maybe you've got a dud that doesn't like stock clocks? :(
