:confused:Got it booked for Monday 6th of October.
Any advice? tbh every test I do I only get about 60 - 85%. Obviosly im going to cram this week with fitting work in etc. Im spit between rebooking but wont be able to do it untill 6th November.... :(

Couple of questions:

1. Whats the pass rate?
2. How many questions?
2. anyone got any good cram questions which are free?
3. general revision advice? - I was thinking of doing questions every night and revising the problems areas in the day - while at work which is a bit MEH :(

I understand everything as doing it at work, and have developed our network with server 2008 and using all the technologies, however i think i get stuck on the way the questions are word'ed and exam conditions.

1. No idea.
2. Can be random - it's normally around the 50 mark. You may have simulations in there as well.
3. No - sorry sites like actualtests, etc. may have some practice questions
4. Read the official preperation guide. Microsoft have a unique way of asking questions. Read the question entirely before answering. If you don't know the answer then logically pick it out. Dismiss wrong answers to narrow it down, etc. Obvious but the amount of people who just panic and forget to pick an answer is untrue. Answer everything as you don't get marked down for being wrong.

In simulations, if you get any, make sure you do it in the shortest clicks possible. Find out how you want to do it then reset it and start again.

Well done :-)

What are you working towards?

I've passed 70-649, 70-620 and 70-647 in the last three weeks, have now reached MCTIP: Enterprise Admin status.

If you've done an MCSE in 2003 and have a decent background in AD combined with some 2008 knowledge in things like RODC's and Hyper-V you should be ok.

I managed to get 894 with a bit of reading and using a MeasureUp practice exam / guide.

A bit of a thread revival...

Just passed another exam 943 /1000, the 70-640 - Active directory 2008.
And have also booked the 70-643 for next month. This will get me the MCTS certification for Windows Server 2008 see: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/mcts/windowsserver/2008/default.mspx

Not sure whether to continue and get this: MCITP: Server Administrator just need the 70-643 & the 70-646
or
settle for the MCTS: Windows Server 2008 - and just get the 70-643
And get the MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 – Configuration certification 70-236

What do you think?
