Got my bundle today...where does the stuff inside go? (specifically the fan)

Received my pc today but Im a dunce with computers and I dont know how everything inside works. I set up the inside trays and fixed some of the components on them (is that right?)

But the main issue is the fan. I dont think it has been fixed in properly at all, it was on a pair of flimsy wires that werent even fixed in properly, what am I suppose to do with it? Where does it go? I've included a pic. Thanks

Depending on the cooler it will either fix directly onto the side of the radiator fans, OR if the cooler is passive only then mount the fan on the back of the case (grilled section at the back, in shot). Use 4 screws (should have come with case).

Is that how it came? Looks like the fan has come loose in transit or something. It should be attached to the heatsink as shown in the second picture on the Tanto product page.

And is there no exhaust fan?
 
It didnt come with any screws and it was just hanging off, I dont understand where its suppose to go

Also importantly Im not using the default case, I changed it to the BitFenix

finally the pic has a white fan as well, I didnt get one, only the black fan

also does it make sense that the fan is pointing to the inside of the pc? Which way around is it meant to go on? Why didnt I get a whitefabn as well?

Is it the Bitfenix Colossus you went for? That doesn't include a rear fan as standard, which would explain why you don't have one. It has a fan in the roof though, right?
 
Oh yeah, didnt notice the roof one

still, I dont get how to fix the fan on, the hooks dont go into it and there are no screws, are the wires meant to be INPLACE of the screws?

Compare to yours. You can see on yours the wires are the wrong way around. The wire should come down the heatsink and hook around the fan.
 
Okay this is really really stupid but: I got the fan in but I think I put it in the wrong way...is the logo side of the fan meant to be facing inward so its flat against the heatsinK, or away so its facing the motherboard and stuff.?

cuz I put it logo inwards and its only just occured how illogical that was...
 
The logo nearest to the heat sink.
A lot of fans have little direction arrows on the side.

This fan didnt come with any arrows, so how am I suppose to know which way it goes in? I dont want to fry my new pc, so are you sure its logo/wires facing the heatsink? And then does it matter which edge is upwards?
