After 4 days of driving a discourtesy car (although big thanks for the garage lending me one for 4 days, they didn't have to!) I've got my 172 back all shiney and fixed 
Front wing was replaced and sprayed, along with all the arch lining and gubbins there, front splitter resprayed and the dent in my rear 3/4 pulled out a bit (still not perfect). All kindly paid for by the man who went into me 6 months ago, and I'm left with some change
So nice having it back, the old laguna I had to drive round drank petrol (2.0 8v) and had a hole in the exhaust (well actually one of the silencers was split aroudn the edge)!
Got used ot the power hike all too quickly again, if only it was quicker.
