However I am starting to think that they are not worth bothering with!

My PPD 0n my i7 920 @ 3.8GHz has dropped by as much as I've gained replacing my 2 GTX260s! I am running -bigadv

Should I be configuring a different way?

Don't run bigadv with multiple gpu's better off just running normal A3's

I had found that I was about 10000 ppd better off running bigadv, on all 8 cores along side gpu2 on 2 gtx260s, than running normal A3 cores.

Its early days but with bigadv on and gpu3 with 2 gtx460s I'm getting about 24000 ppd on my i7 with 7 cores running this is still better than the 15000-18000 I get on normal A3 cores. The CPU folding isn't as good as before but the 2xgtx460s are pushing it in the right direction

I had noticed the system process bouncing up and down a bit but its not built up to that size. I have now had it on for about 24 hrs and it has settled down around the 23000 mark - just over 40 mins a frame on a P2685

I will have to see how it behaves with other WUs

Gulftown would be nice but they're just too expensive for me
