I had to sell my MacBook Pro back in August to finance buying a house. It all got delayed for various reasons so I managed to stash some cash to one side to help finance a replacement Mac. Got a call last week from a friend - the bloke I sold the MBP to is upgrading to a 17" and his buyer for my old 15" had fallen through. I submitted a fair offer straight off and I got her back last night with a couple of added scratches for her 5 month holiday. I'm quite happy and it's cost me a lot less than a new MacBook :D

Quick question on Safari - I'm using T-Mobile Web'n'Walk to get internet access at the moment which has the unfortunate effect of intercepting all the webpage images and compressing them. Ctrl-F5 on Firefox on Windows reloads the page ignoring the cache, but the Cmd-R option in Safari doesn't do this. I can't find owt in the help and google wasn't too helpful. Suggestions?

Usually you will need additional scripts to get it working properly, I tend to use this page:

http://www.taniwha.org.uk/

That's got me working on both my K800i and N73.

I'm using a Nokia n70. It's borrowed from a friend as my W810i isn't 3G and therefore gets vanilla GPRS speeds (48k) rather than the 460k with the Nokia. The W810i is EDGE (turbocharged GPRS) compatible but T-Mobile havn't rolled that out yet, unlike say Orange.

It took about one minute to do. Ran Set up Bluetooth device wizard, told it to use packet data/GPRS. Telephone Number is *99***1# , the 1# denoting the 1st packet data connection on the phone, in my case T-Mobile Internet. It gets more complicated with the Sony Ericssons - you need scripts to pass the configuration data IIRC.

thanks a lot will have a go now!
Have wireless in uni around my building but i swear its around 28k speeds! So gonna try this next time im in to see if its faster
