Got my MAC from O2 - when can I use it?

Hi all

I've got my MAC from O2, which was requested on the 18th. It states you have to give 7 days notice to leave. Does this mean I have to wait 7 days before I give the MAC to a new provider, or can I give the MAC to a new provider now since it will take longer than those 7 days to provision the new service? Just want to clear this up before I arrange anything.

You should give it to the new ISP now.
