Well i got my car today, sorted out the tax and the tiny prob with the noisy gearbox and im soooo pleased:D

Its got a lot more power than i expected it would for a 1.2 and im loving it, i really cant see any problems with it, its a great little runner and im loving it:D

I would recommend getting a corsa for a first car anyday:p;)hehe!!

I will get it all cleaned up and get some pics of it taken tomorrow:p

Congratulations, you must be chuffed :)

I have had a fair few new shaped corsa 1.2 SXI's as courtesy cars, and tbh they aren't that low powered for a 1.2.

Have fun with it :)

So you can only drive with your mum then, using your provisional?

no you get a certificate when you pass and you can drive straight away

your provisional gets taken away after the test if you pass, at the moment i have no ID so cant go out drinking :( not that i want to now ;)

You can drive from the day you pass your test

Nice little first car, people slate them but they're fine for what you need it for :)

I had a 1.2 SXi for a couple of weeks after my old one was written off, managed about 1200 miles in it I think :)

Wasn't bad, quite a nice drive, although found the seats uncomfortable on long (3+ hours) journeys.

You must have been lucky then.

I had to send my provisional off in exchange for the certificate at a cost :(

Good man :)
