Got my Titan Goliath full build set up and....

Ah thanks for that mate, I have not much experience with Vista. I have never used it at home on my own builds and never in work either, in fact I dont know of any corporate environments where vista is used.
Anyway any ideas then why my game is a bit laggy and runs great on my mates machine with a 512 gfx card in it?
Mine is 64bit.

He probbly has a few settings in game set lower than default id imagine.
GTA4 isnt exacaly known for being a coding masterpeice on the PC

I know I was saying to my son yesterday that I wished they had of just stuck to the same great format they have always had with the GTA games but this is far far different than the rest.
Eye candy means nothing if the gameplay aint sweet. I am goin gto do some benchmarking on it after tea I think. I normally use Aquamark or 3D mark for gfx.

Gabe check out the Street Fighter IV Benchmark, should give you a good indication.
Heres the run I just did on my lowly system, all settings maxed.

Ok just downloaded it, will try it later.

Venares do you know where I can get a 64bit .inf driver for my Iiyama Vision master pro HM903DT_A??
I have tried putting on the same driver I always use to get it off plug n play and then I can use my refresh lock to keep it at the rate I want but the driver wont work, it just says make sure its 64bit compatible but I cant find one that is or does work.
Best I can get is 85 hrtz and I want it on 150 like its always been. Its like startling atm and when you up the refresh rate it goes nice and smooth and I use the refresh lock so no games can change the rate.
I think I might order this:
Iiyama ProLite PLE2209HDS-B 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor
Because for £160 you cant moan, it has a 2ms response time and I like Iiyama.

Ok just getting them but I think thats the EXACT folder I have but hey mate thanks for taking the time to look and fingers crossed this may work.
n1 mate seriously.

Another thing which I thought was odd was that the lads at OCuk seem to have installed the drivers for me but when I got the system I still had to complete the Vista installation with the language and serials keys etc....
Wouldnt all that come well before putting any drivers in? The graphics and sound drivers and mobo seem to be in anyway.

If they pre installed the OS for you then they will most likely have run a sysprep on it.

Once they installed it and set it up they run this and it takes the machine back to a state that's ready for delivery to a customer. So you can then setup those initial settings like machine name, language settings etc.
